UK Exclusive Launch Event
The next frontier
and what it means for folding carton
The next frontier in digital production printing: an AI-driven, six-colour engine that reproduces 93% of all RGB colours digitally. For folding carton converters facing shorter runs, more SKUs and the move to GS1-compliant 2D barcodes, it points to where production print is heading. See it in person at the UK launch.

Help set the industry benchmark
The UK folding carton sector's first independent Digital Readiness Index benchmarks where the industry really stands on digital production, variable data and the move to GS1-compliant 2D barcodes.
The full results are revealed exclusively, and for the first time, at this event on 14th July, before they reach the wider market.

Six-colour engine
New Green and Pink toners join the standard set — dramatically expanding the achievable colour gamut and enabling far more accurate RGB reproduction.
AI
Intelligent automation
Substrate Profiler auto-optimises settings per media stock. Intelligent monitoring adjusts registration and colour consistency in real time, reducing setup and operator time.
E2E
End-to-end workflow
From online ordering and estimating through to advanced digital die-cut finishing and packaging — demonstrated live with Fujifilm, XMPie, Imprint MIS and Plockmatic Group.
93%
accuracy
93% of all RGB Pantone Colours digitally printed, finally printed right.
The Revoria PC2120 is the first production press capable of reproducing RGB files with 93% colour accuracy — a transformational leap for brands, designers and print buyers who have long accepted compromise. What you see on screen is now what comes off the press.
About the technology
Pushing the boundaries of production print
The Fujifilm Revoria PC2120 represents a genuine step-change — combining a broader colour palette with an AI-driven workflow that actively reduces the cost and complexity of running digital production.
The transition to GS1-compliant 2D barcodes by 2027 — replacing traditional 1D EAN/UPC codes with QR and DataMatrix — is accelerating demand for flexible, data-driven and variable print production. Unlike fixed product codes, these next-generation identifiers carry batch numbers, expiry dates, allergen and sustainability data, and interactive consumer experiences. During the event, XMPie and Imprint MIS will explore the workflow and variable data infrastructure required to capitalise on this opportunity.
Extended colour gamut
Green and Pink toners extend what's reproducible — brands get closer to their target colours without special processes.
Substrate Profiler
AI-driven media optimisation automatically adjusts settings for different stocks — dramatically cutting makeready time.
Live registration & colour stability
Intelligent in-line monitoring continuously corrects registration and density throughout a run, reducing waste.
Variable data & packaging
Flexible, short-run capability purpose-built for the growing variable data and digitally-printed packaging market.
GS1 Sunrise
2027
The 2D barcode transition is coming — is your workflow ready?
The shift from 1D barcodes to GS1-compliant QR and DataMatrix codes will drive significant investment in variable-data and digital packaging production. This will be a major discussion point at the event, explored by XMPie and Imprint MIS.
